BIO

Alison Patterson is Photographer and Artist based in Cheshire, UK.

Her practice embraces the camera as a therapeutic tool for self-exploration and links between her personal experiences, societal perceptions and feminist themes.

Producing small documentary projects to give visibility and unlock the unconscious parade of thoughts and feelings that shape her. It helps her reflect on the visceral moments of the past and what determine the future.

In addition to photography, she is the Co-Founder of the Cheshire Print Fair, which arranges biannual print fairs with an international clientele and provides social action workshops to explore the possibilities of handmade print in photography.
